As we continue monitoring the ever-changing situation around the Coronavirus (COVID-19) we want to make sure we continue to provide you with the most current information regarding your medical benefits and coverage.
Our goal is to ensure you and your employees do not experience any concerns regarding your medical coverage. We strongly recommend that you and your employees register with your medical carriers to receive the most up-to-date information regarding your benefits and coverage around COVID-19.
All carriers have been instructed to waive any copays and/or deductibles for testing for the COVID-19 virus. If a member does test positive, they will be required to meet any copays and/or deductibles for treatment based on their medical plan. These are the guidelines as we understand them to date.
Also note that telemedicine service options are available to you through your medical plan. We encourage you to use these services if you feel you have symptoms of COVID-19. All fees and copays for telemedicine services have been waived. We have listed carrier specific telehealth provider sites for you below.
Telemedicine services will not be able to test or treat you for COVID-19, however the physician can review your symptoms and concerns with you or your family members and advise you on how to proceed.
Telemedicine services are available online or through the carrier's mobile app. We encourage you to register with your carrier’s telemedicine provider ahead of time and complete all of the information needed prior to your telehealth visit.
